In ARK Survival Ascended, you will have to collect a ton of resources in order to survive by building a base, weapons, killing creatures, taming dinosaurs, and more. While some of the required items are pretty common and can be collected easily, others need you to go to specific locations and can be harder to find on the first place. In that case, you can use ARK Survival Ascended resource map to locate the resources quickly and save your time and you can find it below.

As per the ARK Survival Ascended interactive map, we have mentioned the locations of all major resources in the game.
Crystal
Depending on your level and equipment, you can choose from different places to find Crystal, such as the snow biome, the mountains, or the southern islets. Each location has its own advantages and disadvantages, such as the amount of Crystal available, the environmental hazards, and the hostile creatures.
Metal
Some of the best locations to find metal are on mountains or hills, where you can find a high concentration of metal nodes, but also face some dangers from predators or harsh weather. You can also find them on islands, where you can enjoy a more peaceful environment, but also have less metal to mine.
Metal (Rich Deposit)
Just like metal, metal (rich deposit) are most common in mountainous regions, where you can find clusters of them on the slopes and peaks. Some of the best locations to find them are the volcano, Whitesky Peak, Far’s Peak, the Dead Island, etc.
Obsidian
Obsidian can be found in several locations on the map, but mostly in the northern region. The easiest and most abundant source is the Volcano, where you can find it on the side of the mountain.
You can also find Obsidian on the hilly ranges in the Center, the icy region in the Snow Biome, and some cliffs and mountains. However, these areas are more dangerous and less common, so you need to be well prepared and careful when farming there.
Oil
One of the best ways to find oil in ARK: Survival Ascended is to explore the ocean, where you can find many oil nodes on the coastal reef and the beaches. However, you should be careful of the dangers that lurk in the deep, such as shARKs, squids, and eels. In addition to this, you can also go to the snowy area on the north side, where you can find oil nodes on the icebergs and the snowy beaches.
Silica Pearls
You can find Silica Pearls in the ocean, the snow biome, or by looting certain creatures or structures. In the ocean, you can dive for clams that contain them, but watch out for the dangerous predators. You can also find them by raiding raid beaver dams and take the Silica Pearls inside them, but be ready to fight the angry beavers.
