MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — The Meridian Main Street Market will kick off its seventh season on Saturday, April 15, according to a recent news release. The outdoor market will be open to the public every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 14.
Visitors of the market can enjoy shopping for locally produced goods from a variety of farmers, vendors, artisans, crafters and several young entrepreneurs.
Local bands and entertainers also perform at the market every Saturday. Food and beverages can be purchased to enjoy on site. Musicians Jesse Niebolt and Wade Graves are scheduled to perform on the market’s opening day.
“We really like to advocate for the idea of keeping food and products locally sourced and an integral part of local Idaho culture,” Market Coordinator CheRee Eveland says. "The market has steadily grown since its inception in 2017 and adds a unique vitality to downtown Meridian on the weekends. We look forward to future growth through continued support from the community.”
The market will be in and around Meridian City Hall’s outdoor plaza at 33 E. Broadway Avenue in downtown Meridian.
